Poster designs

For our poster design I was thinking that we had a black and white photo of Susanna with white writing. The name of the album should be in a sweet, curly type of writing to make it soft and stand out from the background. For the name, It should also be in white writing and it should be bold but not overpowering.

I am going to do a few designs of the poster before settling and editing on a final one. We will need to organize a photo shoot with Susanna and find a couple of locations where to do it. I think if we get this done in the next 2 weeks (from 8th October) we can edit them and work on the posters.

We could possibly use the studio at college so we have a white background to use as well as the lighting advantage. However we could also use the locations we are looking at using for our music video.

I have done a few designs of the poster which are very basic. I think they will look a lot better once we have done the photoshoot of Susanna.

Poster Design 1:

This poster is very basic because I didn't have access to PhotoShop when creating it. However, I think the simplicity of the design works well because it stands out. The red on black background with white writing makes the poster bold. I think a poster really needs a photograph but this poster could work around public buildings.

Poster Design 2

Again, another very basic design but effective. This time the background is white and I thought that the hearts on the right hand side would give it some edge. This time I used Bold, Black writing to emphasize the poster. The most appealing part of this simplistic design are the red hearts on the side. As I said, a poster would look so much better with an actual photograph.
